The listing, White Hardy Hibiscus with Maroon Center - 12+ seeds has ended.
Thank you for looking at my auction. These are pictures of my hardy hibiscus growing in my yard at the end of the carport. I am offering 12+ seeds for this auction. 12+ seeds will give you more of a chance of success. I have grown about 75 of these white with the maroon center and about 75 of the pink and white. I sell them at the local flea market. I soak my seeds for 2 days in water to help with germination. After soaking, plant them in a flat and cover with about 1/4" of soil. Put in full sun and keep moist but not soaked to eliminate molding. They will come up for you. When they get about 3" - 4" tall, transplant to small pots until they get big enough to handle to transplant to the ground in full sun. They are very drought tolerant. They are also fast growers. At the end of their growing season, the seed pods will turn brown and split to expose the dark, round seeds. Also, the stems will start to brown. When they are all browned, cut them off at just above ground level. They will grow back the next hear and the base will be bigger and grow taller every year after. They are great for a focal attraction in your yard. You will be the talk of your block. I have never seen this plant at Walmart, Lowe's or Home Depot for purchase. You will be very proud and pleased with these babies.
