@Crystal This won't affect the sound...he made a mistake when he was listing it and thought it was the top screen at first. To replace a top screen, soldering is required, because the speakers are soldered to the top screen. Depending on how your bottom screen is broken though, this might not be the part you need - this is the bottom LCD rather than the touch screen (although it's hard to tell from the picture, he might actually have a touch screen still attached...) Either way, the bottom screen and touch screen are both easy to replace! Good luck!

The ribbon cable does not look long enough to be a top screen. Are you sure it's a top screen?

No, it IS the bottom touch screen. I updated the stupid post. So sorry 'bout that. If U win & don't need it, I will refund asap.

Any chance you might have a spare top screen as well? DX sold me one with a line, and while it's better than what the console had, I'm trying to see where I can find a good one...anyway, good luck!

No, I actually SOLD the top screen last year & almost forgot i had this in the closet until I was rummaging thru it.

Gotta love Listia. It's like the Yard/Rummage Sale of the Technological Era .... minus the $$$ part. More like a Flea market for Swaps I guess. :)

So if I replace my broken bottom screen with this, will it still have sound?
