The listing, Australian Opal Koala bear mother and baby necklace by Toscow has ended.

Cute koala bear pendant with a pretty blue-green Australian opal on the mama bear's tummy. The pendant hangs on an 18" patterned chain. I think it's 18K gold plated but it's unmarked. Made by Toscow of Australia, they make fine opal jewelry and costume jewelry. There is a dark patch under the koala's chin where the plating has come off, or was never on - the necklace was given to me as a gift about ten years ago and has never been worn. Would be a nice gift for a child/teen, or a koala fan.

Is the opal lab created or a real opal?

I believe it's a genuine Australian opal - see the photo of the box that it came in (I'm not planning to send the box 'cause it's not in good shape). It doesn't look like lab opal to me, either. However, this isn't particularly expensive jewelry, so it may be what they call a triplet - a layer of precious opal between a backing and a glass cabochon.
