Pearl Milkweed Vine Seeds
Matelea reticulata

Harvested from the plant pictured, this dainty little perennial vine only grows to a max height of 12 feet and it's rather inconspicuous flowers dotted with iridescent pearl centers are a delight.

This plant is cold tolerant, heat tolerant and drought tolerant and naive only here in Texas. This is one of the plants that both the queen and monarch butterflies use as host plants in this area.

Minimum seed count: 10

All of my seed offers will come packaged in a poly bag with information card to include common name and scientific name (please see pic #3). Please allow up to 72 hours after end of auction for your package to be delivered.

Thanks! These cute little babies came with the land purchased. Found out what they were and then found that seed for them is quite elusive online :)

I live in a monarch area up in Ohio. We get quite a few along with lots of other butterflies. Ohio put a program together last year to collect milkweed and combines with ODOT (highway system) and are going to put out lots of milkweed along the highways.

RIGHT ON!!!! I plant it everywhere and luckily we have several native varieties that dot the Texas hill country.
