About the players:
Larry Jackson pitched 14 seasons, Converted from reliever to starter in his 3rd season, he won 13 or more games from 1957-1968, including a league high 24 in 1964, which landed him 2nd in the Cy Young vote. He made 4 All Star teams and won 194 in his career.
Bob Buhl compiled a 166-132 record with a 3.55 ERA over 15 seasons. He was an All Star in 1959 and an MVP candidate in both 1956 and 1957.
-Bill Madlock hit .305 in his career and won an amazing 4 batting titles, including two with the Cubs (1975-76). He became part of the Pirates Family in 1979, becoming a spark-plug in the Pirates '79 championship season; he won batting titles with the Bucs in 1981 and 1983.
