LOL why so redfaced msgrnjeans1959? THis is indeed one of the more recent versions of Barbie's black girlfriend (this one named Nikki). I wish we had this one! LOL for xmas my daughter got TWO of the Barbie ones! I always refer to the different girls by their names. They are not all Barbies. LOL Teresa is Barbie's Mexican or Latina friend...and so on. So anyways, she opened one and we still have the other one. I listed it once but that was a FIASCO! Ima keep my ojos on this one! LOL good luck ladies!

DUH! Just felt sort of silly! I remember thinking when I saw her, this Barbie is really not a good role model for skin cancer prevention... I thought maybe she used too much Hawaiian Tropic while at the beach party! :) Now it makes perfect sense. Sometimes I am a bit dense! She is very beautiful. A proud beautiful black Barbie!

Oh wow! embarrassing! I think she is more black than tan! a bit confusing because her hair is super long and straight! she has light brown eyes and luscious full lips! Awkward! I looked her up on Amazon and I think her name is Nikki.
