hi i live in west va. it get cold here on the mt. do they come back every year and do they like snow

Yes they tolerate cold very well. I live in northwest montana where we have -20° winter and 90° summer. These spread quickly by sending up runners from the root system. These will come back every year as long as they dont experience severe drought. These develope a tap root and withstand heavy snow.
