Listing is for a new in the box 8pc brush compact set from Makeover Essentials! I only took it out of the box to verify it was all there & to see what the "colors & styles may vary" note was about > seems to apply to the brush bristles in this case. Outside of case does show some minor scuffing, but brushes are all new and the 2 still lock into the side of the case.
This set also has a pretty neat feature of propping the brushes up in the air! And they sit at that staggered positioning! This would seem to make it much easier to get at them when putting your face on! Or even better for those who don't want to set their brushes on the counter - or have limited space! There's also a mirror on the inside as well.

I forgot to measure it when I had it out, lol, but the box measures 5x3in and only about an inch tall - so this would definitely work for travel or small spaces!
