What is the name brand of the speakers..i have one of these and I have never had any problems with it...so Aaronhunter? Yours may have been a different brand name..some brand names work better than others....just letting you know..that just because one person has an issue with a product..it may not be the same brand name...

The one that i have has the on and off button with a volumn control on it to make it louder...and has a cradle in front for your mp3 player or whatever to sit in...and will also connect to your pc by usb connection...so mine is different from what you have...I will see how your bidding goes and my put mine up for bid..i do not use it anymore...
