Now for Starbucks, Lol..I will probably never understand why there are 2 Starbucks on the same corner & within 1 mile another 2 on the same corner :/ in the area I'm in now. When I lived in Wyoming it was 80+ miles to anything, lol..

Good Morning ☺ Yeah I'm on the west coast :/ It is gorgeous over here. The weather is another story. I have been here next to Seattle for about 3 years. I'm used to power outages, & etc..I actually lived off grid for 1 year before moving here. We've experienced lots of flooding & have been stuck a couple times *Living on a boat sounds more reasonable, lol.. I got to say that I'm enjoying the snow much more than the rain, lol..We have to use a Mr.Buddy to heat the house. I sure do miss having a wood stove, that's for sure! The only thing in my home that worries me most when the power goes is keeping my 2 exotic birds warm. Although I'm pretty sure they got the warmest room *heated or not, lol.. Another nice thing is those ☆ Thermos Bottles ☆ I fill these up with boiling water & pull a sock over the bottle to keep from burning my skin. Anyways you sit 1 next to you or hug it a few times, Lol.. & that helps a lot. I buy the bottles for under $1 at 2nd hand stores.
I remember living off grid at night everyone's generators turned on, lol.. I think there is 1 guy up here with a generator. Ours decided it had better things to do than run ☺

I have a Christmas tin full of hand warmers. We actually had to stick 1 on the top of my Hedgehogs house, lol.. The cats I never thought about. They are destructive buggers, & they don't seem to care what the weather is. If anything they are more annoyed by the fact that I shut the window so they couldn't go out. I have 1 window I have locked open just enough for them to come & go as they please. & when they aren't being bouncy, & destructive they are cuddling in a pile with me, lol..Who could ask for better heat! ☺ & its full of L❤VE❣ LOL..

Another thing we started doing was buying small solar panels & we actually got lucky this month. A company removed all of the the backup batteries for power storage & were replacing them *Remodels..never understood tossing out brand new & buying brand new, but hey I'm not complaining. So the batteries were my power save "TG!" because we were unable to replace our generator at the time. Heck last storm warning sold out all the generators, & snow chains. 1 day later everyone was returning their items :/ we couldn't find either at the time. All those people are probably kicking themselves in the bottom right now, lol...because that was last month I believe.

☺ Ahhh..."Thank You!" ☺ I think I might manage to make up 1 more girl box. I know I got lots of nail stuff like tips, & polishes, lol..I should of just stuck with painting them. I got bored & bought a bunch of stuff in one of them spur of the moments. I know I'm also going to be getting a men's gift box together as well. But I have a few more things I'd like to get for that box. I'm going to try & list a box every couple weeks. So keep a look out ☺

Last time it was 6 days

We adopted Gino during the summer. His owner works nights, & hedgehogs are night time party animals, lol..
He is sweet! Not sure what he was in prior to our home, but I had to change the house situation also.
He had just an arched basket house & a wheel. We bought him the longest tote. I took a small square eBay box & folded it shut on 1 end, open on thee other, & put the arch over it. Now his house is enclosed ☺ holds his bedding better. Gino is also very modest, lol... I use a pine pellet as his ground & to keep his wheel in place. He leaves his house to walk to thee other end of the tote to relieve himself, lol..It is the funniest thing! I thought it was strange that they eat kitten food :/ we bought him hedge food & it smells like fruity bird food *Guinea Pig likes it, lol..He is also bug spoiled now *maybe to much.
I read you could also give them cooked chicken.
So I bought a few fancy small cans of cat food, & oh boy.....I would most definitely recommend a Hedgehog as a pet!☺ He the easiest of all my babies.

Ohhh...Thanks for the information! I'm going to have to try that. Obviously I'm going outa my way on a papaya, lol..but banana I can do. Oh...wait...the birds have dehydrated papaya in their food, maybe I can pull a piece from that for him to try. Now for the wheel...somedays it sounds loud & others not so much *it's like a witching hour party every night, lol..
Somewhere between 1am-5am ☺
The only thing I Hate! Is they poop LOTS!<--while running on that wheel, Lol..
That is my only peeve, lol. & cleaning that wheel is a daunting task.

Oh my gosh...how cute! Now you got me thinking I need to get a little creative. I just wish he didn't do his duties while running on the wheel, but I assume that is uncontrollable. Did yours not do any potty on its wheel when running? Mine does have that big plastic bubble looking one. I tried a ball to run the floor, LOL....Oh lord was that a No-No, LOL...I should do a pet box on Listia.
