We use a simular radio on the fire department. I am afraid I don't think you can regulate who gets this. If someone who does not have a license gets the winning bid, that is the person you have to send this to. I may be wrong but I am almost certain I am not.

i can attest the comments are hidden as jason is rude,my first auction he threated to take my action down when he has no authority to do so ,i had to block him,hide his comments and contact listia ,i trust mitchs choice to hide those comments

You can not use this as a firefighter, unless you have an amateur radio license. You could land in jail! You MUST have an FCC amateur radio license to transmit on ham radio bands. Also, even if you have a ham radio license, you can't use this on the job.

Do you know what brand and model this is (alinco, icom, yaesu, etc.)?

Does it come with the charger?

the was made back in the 1980's ,,I am sure the rechargble battey needs replaced

Sence you have decided to hide my comments and dont give a care who this radio goes to and how it is used it is my job as a ham radio operator for more the 20 years to make sure ham radios are not used illegal i will be in touch with the fcc seams you dont care at all what a person can do with this radio that dosent have a license as me and others have told you it has taken peoples lives in the past becasue of illegal transmissions seams you just want bids i will be in touch with the fcc reguarding this matter and listia enjoy----

Hey JASON 420 no one has done ANYTHING illegal OR MADE ANY radio transmissions . so if some law is in the way it has not been broken and no one can be busted for listening in on airwave,

you can program in or listen in on aviation, police, fire, bridge tenders any one using a VHS / FM transmitter, + you can talk back to them, they not know who you are,
