The listing, 1989 Congressional US Mint Prestige Proof Set W/Congressional Commemorative Silver Dollar has ended.

This auction is for a 1989 Congressional US Mint Prestige Proof Set.
This set includes the Congressional Commemorative Silver Dollar & Half Dollar as well as the Certificate of Authenticity.

I am no longer accepting GIN offers for my auctions, everyone now gets a shot at bidding.
The winner will receive this via FREE SHIPPING W/Tracking.
Remember that all Listia rules apply.
Just let it be known that every Monday, Wednesday and Friday I actually go to the Post Office and pay the Postage and Tracking in person so that you will receive your item as soon as possible.
Now that the holidays are over, the Post Office is still taking extra days to get packages to their destinations, or having trouble getting them to the correct destinations. I have items that are taking up to 2 weeks for delivery, so keep this in mind when bidding.
Because of this I check all Tracking numbers daily and will keep you informed of anything that is out of the ordinary and when tracking does state delivery, will get in touch with you to verify that the tracking information is correct if you do not claim receipt by the end of the delivery day.

Have any of the coins developed any hazing, or is what I see on the obverse a lighting artifact? Thank you.

since the coins are within a capsule inside of the mint set I went ahead and gave you some pictures from a different angle that I guess still shows what you may have been mentioning. If you look at the first new picture you can tell by the double image of "PLURIBUS" under the motto of "E PLURIBUS UNUM". I would not be able to guarantee that what you see is not from lighting, what is on the capsule or what is on the coin without removing the capsule and then the coin from the capsule.
The chances of the coins having any hazing on them is very slim because i am sure they have never been removed from their respective holders. I would say bid on it as if the coin has the hazing, for I am not going to remove either of them from within their respective holders for the first time.
