How much is the lot worth

It's hard to say, bimetallic coins tend to be the high denomination types, the kind of coins which would have been struck in gold years ago. Some still have face value but they are very popular with collectors and that's where the value lies.

wow what a nice auction I collect coins for my grandson, it is his hobby I started him on it years ago with a walking liberty that came through the bank in a bag of coins. Do you know what the bank did with coins like these when I worked there..they threw them out so my grandsons collection kept growing
