UNCIRCULATED LINCOLN STEEL CENT SET 1943-P / 1943-S / 1943-DIn the year 1943 the Unites States issued the steel penny because the copper was needed for World War II - the steel look is actually the result of the mint using a Zinc coating.
This set was sold to me as uncirculated Steel Pennies. One from each mint P,D, S. This set is really nice – It is your chance to own a piece of history. I think this set is really sharp.
