Antelope Horns are a clump-forming, 1-2 ft. perennial with an upright / sprawling habit. The showy yet inconspicuous green flowers bloom for several weeks before the seed pods develop and turn brown thus the name "antelope horns" (see pic 3). Great as a potted specimen or bedding plant this flower is a must have as in addition to its beauty it is a host plant for monarch butterflies.
