I have twin granddaughters (5 years old) whose birthstone is opal so I have started collecting opal jewelry for them so when they grow up they can have it....but they can do with out this one.

Did you buy this from a jeweler or from another source? Could you please gentlyput the stone against your teeth as opals are simular to pearls where as you can find out if it is extremmely slick then it is polyurithane coated but if it is slightly rough then its real you wont hurt it either way & if it is positively real then you'll get a ton of bids
