you will get a live plant cutting(dry root) when you receive it just put in dirt and water and watch it grow. Only get about 3 inches tall with no prickly thorns, but if planted outside it will grow into a ground cover with big starfish shaped flowers about 6-8 inches across...really big blooms

sorry, I have no idea how mature it needs to be, but they grow fast and are easy to care for...don't over water

I wonder if this what I have in my hanging basket..but has like runners coming off the top..it is very cool...for getting at Walmart..its going crazy by the window ..unfortunately there was no sticker..to say what kind of cactus it is..
