Description

The listing, One Vial of 14K Real Gold Flakes - Low GIN! - Free shipping! has ended.

The following is the description from when I bought these vials. Please read before bidding.

"OUR VIALS CONTAIN 100% FLAKES WITH NO ALCHOHOL ADDED. The Vials size is 2" tall x 5/16" wide, made of glass, and have clear plastic snap on tops. The Vials are filled with the flakes and have NO liquid added. These are scraps left over from different projects from foil to fine jewelry therefore the gold karat varies but generally average 14K in purity. They make great gifts, stocking stuffers, or save them for a rainy day."

Shipping is free and I try to ship on the next postal business day! Check out my feedback and bid with confidence!

This listing is for ONE vial. There are several pictured because I wanted to show that I do have more than one available (since I have more than one listing on here).

Yes it's real gold. I've personally tested several vials at random. They actually do average about 14K in purity.

is this real 14k gold pieces and not just crushed up gold leaf paper?

It is real gold flakes. I have personally tested several vials at random and found they each contain flakes greater than 22k and less than 10k.k I also found some 14k and some 18kt so they do probably average 14kt in purity. I don't test each vial tho because the testing destroys the flakes.

Unfair or deceptive practices affecting consumers:

Section 5 of the Federal Trade Commission Act, 15 U.S.C. § 45 grants the FTC power to investigate and prevent deceptive trade practices. The statute declares that “unfair methods of competition in or affecting commerce, and unfair or deceptive acts or practices in or affecting commerce, are hereby declared unlawful.”[9] Unfairness and deception towards consumers represent two distinct areas of FTC enforcement and authority.

I have 100% positive feedback and I have never had a single complaint about these flakes. NOT EVEN ONE!

If you are trying to scare others off so you can get them cheaper, I'm sure there's a Federal Trade Commission Act about that too.

I personally test random vials from every shipment I receive. I am a CERTIFIED QUALITY ASSURANCE ENGINEER with 20 years of experience. I currently work as a LEVEL III Investigator for a branch of my state's government.

I'm pretty sure I know what I'm talking about when I GIVE AWAY these little vials.

Im gonna try to buy them all, fanned. :)..why are you selling them here instead of a local jewelry store?
Feb 2nd, 2012 at 7:15:12 AM PST by
Original
They only weigh about 1/10 of a gram and since the purity is mixed from 2k to 22k it's not practical to sell them there. Testing destroys them so it's difficult to separate then any where but a refinery. But a little gold is better than no gold.

Am I wrong to think I can take these vials into a jewelry store and walk out with a check?
Feb 2nd, 2012 at 7:21:43 AM PST by
Original
A refinery would be your best bet on these since the purity is mixed and testing destroys the flakes.
