The listing, Hot Topic Pin Up Style Black & White Plaid Dress Size XL --So Pretty!-- has ended.

Here's a gorgeous dress from Hot Topic that I didn't quite get a chance to wear. It's a size XL. The last two photos show where I cut about 1 inch slits on each side of the bottom hem to see if that would help it fit better. I realized I am just too tall for this dress.

These small two slits that I cut would be extremely easy to quickly stitch up but if you decide not to they aren't noticeable either. I just wanted to make sure anyone bidding knew that this dress is very much brand new, except for those two slits.

This dress has NO stretch and has a zipper in the back with some elastic on the top hem to help with a better fit.

Here are the dresses measurements:

Bust Laid Flat: 20"
Length Of Dress: 26"
Waist Laid Flat: 16"
Hips Laid Flat: 21"

This dress has some very pretty black bow detail at the waist and has fully functional pockets in the front that are SO convenient for just your ID and some cash and lip gloss instead of towing along an entire purse when you're out. I absolutely love dresses with pockets!!

my sister is 5'1 and she weighs 135, do you think this would fit her?

I can't guarantee it will fit her, but it will be a lot better on her than me considering I'm over 5'7" and this is WAY too short on me -- if she can hold it up in the bust area it should fit her fine. So, if she's around a 34C or so she shouldn't have a problem.

I don't want to guarantee it will fit her though since I haven't been 5'1" and shopping for clothes since before I was a teenager -- so if you can go by the measurements at least for the bust. It sounds like if she's a bit curvy it should be fine and look very nice on her.

I'm sorry -- it's only a 6 day auction in the first place and I like to give enough time for people to save credits and enough time for auction exposure to give everyone, including me, a fair chance at winning and earning credits.

I'm about a size 10 dress size except for my bust (which is about 36-38DD) -- so this dress fits me fine, just way too short since I'm almost 5'8" and have a long torso and legs and curves that take up space in the dress!!

I am a 36-38DD in the bust and it seemed like there would be room for a nice, flattering strapless bra, but also if you didn't want to wear a bra you'd have room and it should still work out.

I am almost 5'8" so I would really hope that with being almost 5" shorter than me it would fit you just fine in length!! I have a very long torso and legs too so I think it would be just fine in length on you or at least long enough where if you wore leggings or tights it would be comfortable and fit nicely.

Yep, usually a size XL is too large for me, but I couldn't pass this up only to have it TOO SHORT!!! And I'm not near as tall as you -- not quite 5'8"!! Dresses are usually way more safe for me than trying to find pants/jeans with a long enough inseam though!!

If you look at the measurements this is not a dress with your typical XL measurements -- but then again Hot Topic clothes tend to run very small sometimes and other times just right. I know it will go to a good home though!!

Thanks so much! I have 3 pressed fairy tattoos and love them, a very dear friend did them for me who has since passed away so getting compliments on them means something extra special :)

I will definitely be posting more clothing in similar sizes so invest in that tape measure, lol!! If only I could send one out to everyone interested in my auctions because it's the best way to know if something will fit you or not!!

I have been a smaller women's size before and am almost 5'8" but have never been less than a full 34C so it's really hard for me to give an exact answer for me to guarantee you'll be getting something -- I would recommend going by the measurements the best you can.

It's not that I don't want bids, but I really am feeling like unless you take your exact measurements and it happens to be the right size I think you're too tiny for this dress, but also possibly too tall. I wish I could say it would work out for you because you're such a sweetheart, but I don't want you to get it and it doesn't work out!!
