The listing, Must See!! HUGE LOT of VINTAGE Barbie Dolls, Topper Dolls, and Clothes has ended.

Up for Bids is this HUGE Vintage Barbie Collection. Winner recieves it all! There are 19 Dolls total all ranging from 1960-1988 I believe. I am not an expert, but will do my best to answer any questions. These were mine growing up and have been stored ever since. I tried looking them up and the only ones that I know for sure are the last two dolls pictured are Topper Dolls and are smaller than the average barbie. Along with all the dolls, you will recieve over 75 pc of vintage clothing for them.
Now these have been played with (Alot) and I'm not even sure the correct heads are on some of these, lol. There may be some discoloration, missing fingers or toes, cut hair, and a couple dolls are in pieces (pictured) and one of the topper dolls look to have been glued at the legs.
The clothes need ironed, lol. They may have spots or small tears. Dozens have little metal clasp closures, while others are velcro. My favorite is the poodle dress. Don't miss out on this auction. Great for Collectors, kids, grandkids, or even resale individually.

This is important, so listen up...My home is a pet free, but smoking home. I try my best to keep things in tubs and as smoke free as possible, but it doesn't keep it out 100%. I also wash everything prior to shipping, with exception of the new w/ tags items. If you have any concerns with this, please do not bid. I am trying my best to quit, but until then, please keep this is mind before bidding.

The dates on the bottome of the dolls do not mean their age, but the mold that was used for that time forth until they made a new yr mold. I'm older & know Barbies, this is a cute collection that can be cleaned up to look very nice. There may be a gem or so in the lot, I hope so for the winner !!!!!

may I ask how old you are? I'm sort of confused because I see a lot of late-80's dolls but a lot of 70s-ish looking clothes. to be honest I'm not even sure most are actual barbie clothes. Does your mom or someone else in the family sew? It may not make a difference whether they're handmade or mattel brand, but it's important to know for sure. Thanks :)

I am 33. I'm sorry I can't help you much. Nobody in my family sews. My mom purchased many of these from yard sales and flee markets when I was growing up, so I really don't know much about this stuff. I just played with them, lol.
I just double checked the dolls themselves and here is what I found:
The flat chested girl says Mattel 1967
Can't find anything on the blonde baby
The brown haired baby says Mattel 1976
Teenager says Mattel 1987
2 smaller dolls say Toppers 1970
Blonde guy and broken guy both say Mattel 1968
Barbie in 2 pc swimsuit says Mattel 1986
Doll in 2 pc red outfit says Marter? no date
Dk hair guy is actually 1990 and is Jordan Knight from NKOTB (sorry, I didn't see that before) from Hasbro
and the other 8 all say Hasbro 1966
As far as the clothes, many of them do look homemade now that I look closer at them. That never would have crossed my mind. However, just checking the dates and brand on the dolls I ran across several with Mattel labels on the clothes...such as the orange black and white outfit one of the barbies are wearing, the pink bathingsuit on one of them has a Mattel label also dated at 1969, and the pinkish sweater (not worn in my picture, but stuck out when I was searching). I didn't see any others with labels, but hope that helps.

Thank you. I remember my little sister ripping the head off of my favorite stuffed bear once, but never had anything blown up like that. That would be upsetting as a child for sure. Atleast my mom could sew the head back on my bear.;)

Great auction, you're going to make someone really happy with this one. The Topper dolls are called Dawns. My older sister had an entire case of them, me being the "baby" I wasn't allowed to play with them. Good thing though, I would have ruined them. I like the Skipper doll you have here too!! She is the one with the flat feet. I had a nice little giggle..the guy on the end looks like he's got crazy hair because of the mermaid next to him :0) Good luck all, fanned and watching

Wow hon this awesome...my youngest daughter who is 31 now collected ALL the special edition barbies and all but one r still in the boxes...never opened..i think she still has all her other barbies as well which my 6 yr old granddaughter plays with...this such an awesome auction and we fanned each other a long time ago but I'll be keeping my eyes on this one for sure...good luck hon and hope to ttysoon xox debi

The jacket (I think) on that outfit is one of the ones that has a hole in it as stated in the description that some do. It looked to be sewable as it is in the seem I believe. Just wanted to let you know and wish you the best of luck.;)

I was a toy wealthy child growing up.;) I had more, but my sister is younger than me and many got passed down to her back then. That is a good thing about being the oldest especially when it came to clothes. I got new and my sister ended up with alot of my outgrown clothes. She got spoiled more when I moved out though.;)

the pink and yellow dress with four beads sewn on the front to look like buttons in picture 12 is barbie brand and vintage. i have the same dress. i think it has a matching jacket that goes with it.

This is so cool!! I had the blonde ken doll as a kid. Its the same ken doll they featured in toy story 3. I can't remember his name: safari ken or jungle ken or something.
