Are they like a vinyl strip? My nails split and I was told to buy the adhesive strips to protect my nails.

Hey Norma. Sorry i am just getting back to you. I've been under the weather but actually feeling much better today. My whole household/family spreaded that nasty bug around. Anyways, these do not have any kind of sticky glue on them. U literally peel them off the paper they are on, stick them to ur nail,& file the remaining hanging off at the top off with a nail file. I actually LOVE these thingies and use them faithfully. I ADD A SHINY CLEAR TOP COAT. IT SEEMS TO MAKE THEM LAST LONGER. THEY LAST UP TO 10 days ..depending on the work u do. It is a 18 pack so u will have plenty extra. Comes with everything u need in this pack. They don't mess up ur nail at all and are so less messy than polish. Polish chips and stains and all of the above.

Now these Essie nail strips already have a unique uv curve and a polish finish so they don't need really anything added. They are inspired by Uv gel. I was looking to see if they said Vinyl i don't see it but im almost 99% sure they are. I have several myself and they feel vinyl.
