Actually!! The Nazi starting using this symbol in the 1930's & 1940's...China was using
this as one of their symbols for their gods for hundreds of years before..actually I think it was a thousand years before...I'm a college teacher here in China..and I had one of my students put it on the board..wehn I first got here 8 years ago..and thought the same as you...but now I know different...Thanks for your interest in it!!
