Approx. what size is it? What is it made out of?

it is an old powder puff round plastic box, and it's been covered in plastic and glass beads. the butterfly is stainless steel with stones embedded in it. im not sure what the stones are.its about 2 inches tall or so and about 5 inches wide. Id compare it to the size of a softball.
