The listing, ★FALLEN HEROES PATCH★12 inch★ has ended.
From my Fire-Fighting days; Excellent condition. Very carefully removed from my jacket. I had my jacket in closet since i retired in 2004. Im ready to pass this on to another person who is as proud to own it as I was while a firefighter. This would look great framed also...Unknown if back is iron-on. I had it professionally sewn on around the outer edge. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I ship FREE WITH TRACKING ♥ USA ONLY ♥ All Listia rules apply. Rudies will be blocked. Bless your heart. thank you for sharing this. fantastic auction
I was an EMT here in northeastern Washington state in Republic, then I went into Ephrata, Wa. As a wildland firefighter. Thank you for asking. My last fire (wildland) was the Fischer Wa. Fire in 2004. Last year I was a civilian in the Carlton Complex fire. Yes, I did still pull 250 feet of water hoses at age 55.
Wow, that is pretty far away and sounds like a very dangerous job. I was in New York City in Rockefeller Center at work on 9/11/2001. We all had to walk home that day and you could smell the smoke in the air for days. We thought that Rockefeller Center would be next. Instead, they chose the Pentagon. One of my Uncles died on the job at 63 in 1954 of a heart attack while fighting a fire in Upstate New York.
Yes, I have never been to New York, but I was proud to wear this Honor Patch. I cannot imagine being there on 9/11...Bless your Uncle for his service. Thank you for bidding and best of luck.
