The listing, Antique German Text Book 1916 has ended.

They don't make them like this anymore! This book is actually from the high school that I attended, Reading Senior High School in Reading, PA. Although I did not attend during the year 1916. :)

I included pictures of the front and back covers, the preface and an example of a page. I also made sure to include the copyright and proof that this was printed in 1916.
I'm not sure what the number 227.9 means. I looked up how to determine edition of a book and there is usually a string of numbers to indicate that. This is a decimal so I'm stumped.
The stamps in the second photo are from the school indicating the year this student used this book, 1928.
There are no markings inside this book! Besides the preface, the entire book is written in German.
This book is in great condition!

the 227.9 may be part of the dewey decimal system, which is how libraries categorize books. this is a history (according to the first word on the cover) book but maybe not in the sense that we think of history. We also use ISBN today, but libraries still use the DDS.
