The listing, Vintage Metallica Back Patch has ended.

This large vintage Metallica patch is the perfect size for the back of a hoodie or jacket. It's 14" long, and 12" wide along the top edge, 9" wide on the bottom edge. Great vintage devil/flames image, reads "Metallica" and "Jump in the Fire"...one of their early songs. Patch is sew-on, not iron on, and looks like cotton backed with felt, though I can't be sure. In perfect shape aside from a crease across the center that should disappear with wear. It doesn't affect the graphic at all. This is a great piece for any metal fan! :)

Fake howso? My fiance got this in the mid-late 80's and its been sitting in a box since then. If you don't like the way it looks, don't bid on it. :)

Now my comment; I love these guys, have for ages, I'm 47 yrs old and I still rock out to them, wasn't to excited over the last album, but their still my 1 fav! I have a vintage fan members T-Shirt, that I have hidden away, caught the ol'man wearing it once & I had a fit, chewed his @## for months. So, I'm watching & fanning!

im guys i know i just 18 but i am HUGE Metallica fan R.I.P. Cliff. But ive just havent seen any of these aropund and yes i agree the last album with leu reed not that great but am another huge fan of metallica. i have read their bio 8 times. LONG LIVE METALLICA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Age is no matter when it comes to music...I listen to a lot of old school punk, and most of it came out a couple years before I was born, or at least before I was in kindergarten, lol! I think Metallica is one of those bands that appeals to all ages, and they have been around a looong time, so a lot of people have had a chance to get into them...I think that's awesome! :)

No worries, sometimes things come across harsher online than you mean and I take no offense. This may be a fan made design, a lot of people screen printed their own stuff back then, the old DIY punk rock ethic. Purchased at a record store in Chicago. Its a nice quality for its age and looks pretty cool. Let me know if you have any other questions! :)
