Description

The listing, ~Estate Find Beautiful Enameled Crescent Moon Marked Trifari with a "C" in a circle ~ has ended.

Welcome to my auction page. I love to go to estate sales, charity events, online auctions, antique stores and travel for vintage pieces. I am including comparison photos to a ruler to give you a just on the size. Those that have won my auctions many have found that I add in an extra something for them according to how high the auction goes for. I have even added solid gold to high gold auctions that were won. Check out my other auctions, I will be listing many estate finds as I am unpacking into my new home.

This Brooch is a golden crescent moon with cut out scroll type flowers and enamel that is yellow, crimson, emerald and black. On the back it says Trifari and has a circle after that with a "C" in it. Beautiful crescent moon.
This unique estate find will start off at 1 credit and free shipping. Good luck and happy bidding!!

I was the only girl on both sides out of 12 boys (including cousins) I also keep mine in little bags made of silk that we got in Japan years ago! I thought I was the only one who uses them. It's so nice to take them out and let my children see the whole collection and know what they are going to inherit from me. They absolutely love seeing family history! : )

wow, I have those little bags too and still have rice paper and candy wrapped in rice paper...my grams gave me a bunch of stuff before she passed but that was dads side, mom collected jewelry and I bought her so much also she had lots, every mothers day, birthday, Christmas and I always got her opals and sapphires those were her favorites. I figured I will care for it and when I go divide between my brothers daughters he has three and I have 1, keep it going :) Right now I dont think any of them could appreciate it though so it is good I have it. :)I love history also!! Not school history...lol...family type.

I loved going to auctions, estate sales even garage sales. Now I have to stick to less conventional means. Most places that have the best things aren't wheelchair friendly for me. I LOVE seeing what great finds you and others put out though! If I'm ever in Michigan I'm definitely visiting you! :) ❤

Do so and I go to many charity auctions and they are wheel chair friendly and are turning into better than estate sales to tell the truth. If Alicat wins I hope she is happy with it because I am pretty sure she wanted something with no crown. She wrote me on this one and liked it because of no crown, but yes you are right I can see it when I blow up the pic. Funny how we see better with bigger pics even better than a magnifying glass! My Weiss is gorgeous have many of their emerald edition which is very rare and many of their ice blue all rhinestone pieces and even a tiara that breath taking but that one will stay with me...that one was moms :)

lol I am a gabber a chatter box as my grams would say... I could carry on for hours and loose a person in the comments lol :) Thank you so much for commenting. The only thing I could find on it is they made ones yellow like this and blue, the blue is very common the yellow is not. So if I would have known that I would have listed that would be considered rare. But I did not know much about it to tell you the truth and did not start searching until someone pointed out the crown, which I failed to see before...lol.

Extremely lots in common! My granddad on my mom side was a colonel! They lived all over the world. And then I grew an army brat! My mom lived all over from panama to post war Japan and so did I (no Panama though). I know how to make the dishes you're talking about and I'm teaching my kids as well. We don't eat like regular Americans do...we rarely eat beef and we go days without eating any kind of meat at all and we're all fine with that. And....I'm 47! Could have more in common? Lol!! :)

lol.... with my kids we would pick a place on the globe make a dish learn a sentence from there and have fun at dinner. That way we learned its not all about us there is more out there. Speak, Urdu, Spanish, Punjabi, little Hindi :) and my son cook goon now many can not !! :)

Lolol! I have my kiddos hooked on lychee and green tea candy wrapped in rice paper! Save the ones that give happy memories and go to your local Korean market if you've got one near, they'll have all sorts of flavors you'd love. I've eaten them since I was a little girl too! Don't let my pic fool you, it's 7 months old but I'm nearly 50. I totally agree, family history! I've 2 brothers but my mother left all her jewelry to me. The major pieces I've already let my kids (3) know which are theirs. I'd get a headache if I had to divide up a collection for so many family members!

I am adopted 2 brothers on my adopted side, my mom wanted me to have her jewelry also. I go to the international market because I make many dishes such as lamian, Miso, birayani, jalfreeze etc dishes from all over (military family) I have friends in many countries and learned many wonderful meals and not Americanizes sugarized ones either lol. The real deal and its wonderful. Pushing 50 here also will be 47 :) We got lucky being the only girls... but in the end my brothers side will have more than mine because I have 1 girl and I will do it all evenly :) Lots in common.

My mothers and grandmothers jewelry will always stay with me too. I hadn't thought about charity auctions! Last one I went to was a church sponsored one where a picked up a beautiful hand painted German castle landscape 6 years ago. I'll be on the lookout for them now. Btw...I'd love to see your mom's Weiss piece. It sounds absolutely stunning! My favorite colors are all shades of blue! : )

Pieces a chest of drawers full of them full all stored with cloth in a snap hinged box each one. She was picky because many were her moms pieces and her mom died when she was young, then she took over cooking cleaning etc for her father. She saved all my great nana's. So it is a lot and I am the only girl. Easter Seal auctions are pretty good, so are Autism auctions and Veteran auctions. People ask to share my "secrets" no secret. I love to share.
Also I was wrong, Alicat wants the crowns lol I was worried there I wrote her cause I was worried if she did not want it, that it was ok I never mind ot relist or give back credits I like everyone happy...no she wants the crowns lol I was wrong. I know I have many with crowns, I will have to go through them but lots are like plastic necklaces and clip on earrings that I just did not think would do well so I never listed. I will look for crown now.
My mom also loved the blues she had all the icy colored pieces 3 inch wide bracelets and marquise rhinestone necklaces and such, it actually looks like something for a princess. Those will never go on here :)

Lol! My grandmother left me a round broach with birds on it. That's the only reason I knew to look for the crown! My eyes aren't what there used to be either. :)

Mine is not either, I just bought me a thing that looks like a welders hat with a light and magnifying glass over the regular loop so I can have hands free. lol The older I get the more I look at my son and say hey is that this or that, or take tons of photos and try and blow them up lol. So I love my new head gear much better!! Pretty bad I have to strap on the gear. :)

This piece is a Trifari Crown. It's one of the most sought after pieces for collectors and dealers. If I could afford to get this, I would be. You'll notice that the T has a little crown on it and the C means copyright. Made from the 1950's through 1960's. BID!

How do you find estate sales? I live in CT, so there's no competition, lol. Love these finds you have listed. Thanks.

I moved and found them again already. They are all over, look in the yellow pages for auctions live ones and call them to ask them how they work there and that you would like notice before them. Look for signs in yards for live auctions, also call all the storage moving places (YEP) if the people cant get their stuff and dont pay with in 90 days it goes for auction, and many dont know about it so a whole storage many times goes for 1.00, but note most do not put jewelry in them, its mostly big stuff like couch, tv, etc. check flea markets, check online, check thrift stores and call looking for charity events. I guarantee you will find them in your town. I hope that helps and I am more than happy to help another, to me its not competition, its about helping :)
