you mean can they be used with a regular player that is not ipod? I've tried to do some research and I couldn't find any specifics on whether or not they aren't compatible with other manufacturers. They are packed and I can't see the connector but I would assume they could be compatible with any type of player including Apples. But that's just my opinion ... if anyone knows please let me know =)

Yes, a 3.5mm plug is a standard headphone jack size. These should work perfectly fine with just about any MP3 device, smart phone, computer, etc. And, even if your device has a different size jack you can always go to Radio Shack and buy an adapter for a couple of bucks.
