Tall and relatively slow to bolt with large, dark green leaves about 3" long. Edible Flowers: Use the flowers to garnish drinks, salads, soups, pasta, and desserts. Flavor is of intense basil.
Sow 1/4” deep, germinates in 7-14 days. Start indoors, seed 1inch apart in warm, moist soil. Only plant outdoors after days and nights are over 50 degrees. Frost tender, heat loving plant. Full sun. Pinch out the tops of plants to prevent blooming and to encourage more leaf growth.
Seed Source: This seed is fresh, purchased from a well known certified organic seed grower and meant to be used this year but will be good for next year too.
Basil is a great companion plant for tomato plants, they help each other thrive.
