My whole family uses Straight Talk and all of the phones we've had, they haven't taken SIM cards. I'm not sure why this would matter to anyone, but then again, I've always been a fan of being able to switch a SIM between phones and being able to keep my number and service that easily.
The difference is the carrier if you have the sim card it runs off ATT without the sim it runs on Verizon That is why I ask, where I am ATT network just doesn't work well but the other does.....
Not true mariettashaw sorry just saw your post and thought I should let you know about the sim card thing att runs through GSM and Verizon runs through CDMA which depending on the device is to which one it will run though and which sim you will need but the service provider can let you know which sim card is needed and will usually provide the first one at no charge and if a replacement is needed from tech problems they usually provide it at no cost also but some phones require sim and some don't and you'll find more and more require sim cards and it is getting harder to find ones that don't
