ALCS MVP in 1985. Gold Glove Award Winner in 1985. Three time Silver Slugger Award Winner. Three time AL Batting Champion. Kansas City Royals # 5 retired. Inducted to Baseball's Hall of Fame in 1999. He is one of four players in MLB history to accumulate 3,000 hits, 300 home runs and a career .300 batting average.
