began making these caps when I was chemo-bald. More comfortable and lighter than a wig, but they made me smile when I looked in the mirror--something I badly needed! I wear them now on bad hair days. This one is a light weight one, great for summer. Fits average size head. Note: The beige/brown in the picture is more off an off-white. The other colors are true. Points include shipping in the continental U.S.

I really loves these! Saving up points to bid. Hoping you have another purple one up in the future. My daughter loves these as well, so I want to get her a purple one. How long does it take you to make one? They really are nice.

I don't have any all purple yarn left and I'm using up my "stash" in order to list these for points. I do have one that has quite a bit of purple in it, but those are better for winter and I'm not offering those until in the year because they just bring the opening bid which isn't enough to cover my time. I'll see if I have anything lightweight with that is heavier purple. And whatever one wears tends to echo that color in the hats. I've only found 2 types of yarn that work for these hats so it may be some time before I have all purple.

Yeah I am in Ct so there are a lot around, I usually try to give to the smaller ones, since Yale and New Haven are so well known.

The one here is pretty small--we only have an oncologist who comes in from a larger town. But they have been wonderful!
