Just stick the needle in the hole at the end eye first, then press the lever hook the thread on the little metal hook and release the lever pull needle out and voila its threaded...there is also an additional threader on the end you can put thru the eye of the needle by hand if you like. Makes threading a needle much easier ~ I use one and I love mine as my eyes arent what they used to be LOL!
