This is a silver-tone costume jewelry ring with a large stone in it. It is brand new, never worn. This ring was advertised to me as being a "real opal," but I don't think it is. I think it's probably glass, and I think I see a small air bubble in it. The metal is not sterling silver, although it is a silver color.

This ring has some imperfections at the edges of the bands that hold the stone up, but it does not affect the feel of the ring when worn. You could file these off if they really bothered you.

This has a tag on it marked size 16 but I think it must be some sort of different sizing system than the one we normally use. I would estimate its size at about a 6, possibly a 5 1/2.
