1 yard +, (38 inches) Benartex Toile - "Marleigh" from the Classically Home Collection by Marianne Elizabeth, 100% cotton screen print, beautiful light golden brown colored fanciful bird on light golden background. 45 inches wide. This is a lovely piece of fabric to add to your stash. If you fussy-cut the bird, would make a great tote or panels for a quilt.

would this be thick enough to cover a chair seat in? :-) Thanks, it's gorgeous!

Connie, that's a good idea, but it would depend on the chair. It is home decor cotton and might be a little more substantial than regular cotton but is not what I would call heavy or thick. It's got a real nice feel to it. You might want to first iron some fusible interfacing to the back to make it a little more durable and then cover your chair seat. Maybe spray with scotchguard if the chair was going to get heavy use.
