Another of my father in laws antique harmonicas he purchased on one of his trips to Germany. He hasn't been there since he was 30. So it's at least 46 yrs old.

haha, may be able to fix it, either way it's still pretty sweet for free haha. Oh and C is fairly standard for harmonicas, and on most if you flip it the other way its in the key of G, this is called cross harp, the reeds are actually inside and there is one for each hole, so if your not getting a sound out of one of the wholes the rend may be bent or missing, still looks awesome to me!

ok I'm home and checked. one side looks like the right end reed is damaged not making a sound right there I see a couple of little chips on the other side but where the chips are doesn't affect it it still makes sounds from the effected area so I guess the reeds are not damaged. LMAO. I'm getting harmonica savy

haha its ok, I kinda asked a question you wouldnt really know the answer to unless you played, which you stated earlier that you do not, so no problem. Do all of the holes make a tone when you blow into them? oh and the reeds are the little flaps inside of it that vibrate, thus producing a tone, when you blow into them. Fanned and hoping to win, this looks great!

yes it plays. I don't know what reeds are. I assume it's where your mouth goes. I blew into it sounds good to me. LOL

no idea what key. I don't play. it is over 46 years old. 6 inches long. 2 1/2 in wide. the pics are of front and back. same design on both sides

I just found out from my husband that the three harmonica's I have listed are much older than I thought they were my 76 yr old father in laws fathers first. so they are WAY OLD
