The listing, Elephant Head (Seeds) has ended.

Amaranth 'Elephant Head' Amaranthus gangeticus)
This prominent plant is named "Elephant Head" for its large, dark burgundy blooms which actually look like an elephant's trunk. Open pollinated, this stunning and unusual flower is an heirloom variety. Seeds are easily saved for growing each year and will self-seed in warmer zones. Plants will grow approximately 3-5' tall and nearly as wide. This plant looks great in containers or as a garden specimen plant and blooms make for superb cut flowers. This unusual plant always gets attention in your garden!

I don't know what zone your are in. In the colder zones it would grow as an annual unless you put it in a pot and brought it in during the colder months. It only takes 5 days to germinate so if you planted it after the first frost or started it inside like I do. it would last until it got cold again. Some people use this plant for a natural clothing dye. The color is very vivid. You also could cut the flowers and dry them.
