Well, if you send an e-mail or make a phone call, they've got your number ... so it's best not to respond. Same thing with links in emails. Even an email from a FRIEND who sends you a link can be a trap ... I've had friends whose e-mail contacts were stolen by "cute links" to videos or other web sites ... just NEVER do that (click on a link in an e-mail).

Always open a new browser page and copy/paste the URL ... it's the only safe way.
