this auction is for 25 plus mimosa tree seeds they are real easy to grow and are very lovely to look at you can let them grow huge or keep them trimmed to a certian height whatever you prefer they have a light rose scent when in bloom and attract humming birds bees and butterflies and make a very romantic setting to have a picnic under and lots of shade if kept under 20 feet they also make a beautiful bonsai plant as i have 2 right now but they are not in bloom so i did not take a picture of them but will in the spring thanks for looking

Looking to seed exchange? I have tons of seed willing to trade. I actually have tones of these seeds too. I have three of these trees in my front yard, so if you don't win this auction never fear contact me. Tell me what you are looking for and I will see if I have them. :)

I won some of these from another lister, and have tested diff, ways to have a higher success rate in germination. The hot water part is right, but being so small is seed size it is hard to score them with a file. So I did it 3 diff ways and have 40 trees growing indoors right now. I took 10 seeds and a pair of toe nail clippers and snipped into the shell, then I took 10 and snipped the bottom of where the root starts out off, again 10 this time removing with clippers the lower half of the shell off and the last 10 I completely removed all of the shell. The ones where I removed the lower half of the shell and all of the shell germinated in 5 days, then the ones where I clipped off the bottom of the shell germinated in 10 days and the last to germinate in 20 days was the ones I clipped into the shell. I hope that this helps ya and other in having a much higher success rate in germination of these seeds!
