Oh wow....that is dangerous business! I wish you lived near me. We have a bunch of trees that are blocking the sun to our house and would make great fire wood. I would give the trees to person brave enough to tacke the trees with a saw! Thanks for keeping an eye out, and T-I-M-B-E-R or is it fore? ha ha

a family friend owns a tree cutting business so hes been helping! that huge snow and ice storm we had last month was the worst our state has seen in like 50 yrs, so it pretty much ruined our trees, the ice was thick and heavy it damaged all the trees, and their branches broke off and stuff and the ice made the trees weaker, we got some wind storms on the way , so hopefully today we will finish getting them all cut down! we will miss the shade they gave us LOL but i wont miss the leaves LOL!

well we got them all down and gone! my uncle is coming over to pick up the wood this weekend hopefully! they have a old wood stove in their house and live out in the sticks LOL! so he asked me to save it for him! plus side is now the sun will come into the back yard more, so i can plant more things :)

Oh good... I only have pine trees which as you know are yucky for burning. I have a few oak but they are minding their own business. Must be nice to clear them though--you will have so much less dampness and so much more light! Much better that way. Yes, great for planting!

used to love freecycle, and craigslist, but some ppl would end up showing up for the certain items we posted bout then want other things, or would just take other things they werent supposed to, oh and never have anyone come cut any trees unless they are into tree cutting! just ur normal every day joe can come along and really screw them up or cause a big accident from not doing it right, since u gotta cut trees just right at the tops and stuff to get them cut down properly!
