Hello listia frineds this is my goodbye to you auction you have all been so wonderful and i will miss you all so much. it has been wonderful meeting you all and making new friends!

i relunctantly am having to give up listia my feathers are no longer doing well here .
however i will remain selling on facebook and other places ......

i am running this auction for 7 days with no gin and 0 start so that all have a chance at this!!!!!

ok so before i start boo hoo ing ill get started telling you about this item

i took lots of pictures because i know they help allot

this vintage bracelet was picked up by me over 2 years ago at a esate auction and has been in my jewelry box every since i never wore it just got it for it's beauty

i just fell in love with the beautiful designs on it they are very intracate and well done so pretty as you can see !!!!

it is 1/2 inch wide

there is marking of s.o.b. this i was told is the makers mark under that is 1/20 10kt
these are the only marking n the entire bracelet

i have took it to the pawn shop and had it tested i also tested it my self it was found both times to be real

please see picture 8 this shows that there is a clip missing on the closer of the bracelet this could be fixed (but currently it still stays shut when you push it together )

and just to head this question off--------- yes i could sell it for money but i am choosing not too i want to leave listia with a bang and i am sure someone out there will love this and apperciate the uniqueness of it ....

on the scale it is 20.7 grams

this will ship free with insurance

The jeweler told me back then (older days) that they used this to measure the legal minimum layer of karat gold tht must equal at least 1/20

i took a picture of it on a measuring graph it is oval and 2 1/2 incjes from one side to the other and 2 inches from top to bottom of the wrist thickness

beautiful bracelet, but you should know that 1/20 means that it's plated, not solid gold. This stamp is the quality stamp and represents that the piece is gold plated or better described as gold filled. The 1/20 means that there is a layer of fine gold equal to 1/20th of the jewelry's volume. so the 1/20 means that only 1/20th of the weight is actually from the gold, the rest is another type of metal. Just thought you might want to know so you can update your listing to show this. Very nice piece though! I love it.

i hate to tell you that that is not entirly true i have lots of vintage jewelry that says 1/20 10 kt and 1/20 th 14 kt the only time that it meands plated or filled is when it is marked 1/20 10kt followed by gf which is gold filled if you do notlike my item please move on i have never sold anything on here that i did not know what it was I HAVE BEEN DEALING IN VINTAGE JEWELRY FOR 10 YEARS i think i would know what i am talking about you need to do beter reschearch you only saw part of the menaing back when thay made real items that was marked like this they used it to clasifiy the grade of gold these marking have 2 different meanings and you should not come to my listing running your mouth when you don't know what i have i am sorry to all my fans for being this rude but this really upsets me why dont you call a jeweler and ask them if a vintage item that is marked 1/20th 10 kt can be real gold or only filled i PROMISE YOU THEY WILL TELL YOU IT CAN BE EITHER DEPENDING IF IT IS MARKED GF OR NOT WHICH MINE IS NOT MARKED GF and also for your knowleged this item has been tested by a local jeweler and myself please step on away from my auction until you have more knowledge
