That's Awesome! Good luck, fanned back & luv the pro pic! We had a female American Pit named Dixie, one day she took off into the woods and never came back, she was 11yrs old when that happened and we had her since she was a pup, figured she knew her time was near and just wondered off. She had never done anything like that before. Plus we started noticing some weird behavior from her a few months before hand. Awh... Now I miss her! :0( Don't worry I'm good.
His name is Ruff 'n Reddy. Ruff 'cause he never shut up when he was a pup, and reddy for his color and he was always ready to get into trouble. He'll be three June 30, and his mom will be four on the 29. These are the most loving and affectionate dogs I've ever had, or even known, and I grew up with dogs around all the time. They're about 60 lbs, and still think they're lap dogs. 120 lbs of dog is a real lapfull!! lol
LOL! With us , along w/the pit we also had a blue healer, OMG his bark would pierce the ear drum if you were in a inclosed area, smart as a whip though. The two dog grew up together, and the blue had really bad hips and the ex-had to put him down, that could of been another reason for Dixie wondering away looking for him I suppose. But, after those two and yep, your totally correct about the 120lb lap dogs, I went for a real lap dog as in a Shitz Tzu, but this lil'girl thinks she's a junk yard dog, loves getting that long fur dirty! Yugh! LOL
I'm sure this will be the last dog I ever have. I did NOT plan to ever get another dog. It's getting difficult to take care of them as they deserve to be taken care of. But there they were; they needed a home. She had six puppies and I got her with five of them. Three were already spoken for, and a friend took his sister. My rats all passed away (they only live about three years), and now my ferrets have passed away, too (six-seven years for them). Dogs usually stay around a lot longer than that.. They'll probably outlast me.
