You should tell everyone how much you bid so they can outbid you!

I understand rushed bids when the auction is expiring, because sometimes, the bidder can make a mistake, just like the seller. Anyway, I'm watching. I recently got my 3DS (aqua blue) and want to build a greater game collection on it.

yeah, I can understand that too! I have done that myself when i see an auction that is about to close but I always own up to my mistake unless the seller is understanding. These games are perfect to build up your collection. thanks for watching!

Well, some auctions are very misleading, so if you make a mistake because you misunderstood or misread an auction, it may be the seller's fault for misleading the buyers. I had such an auction go into dispute recently, because the seller was trying to sell game CASES and failed to make it clear that we were not getting the games with those cases. The auction was even in the "video games -> games" category. Seems wrong to blame the bidder in that case.

Anyway, still watching.

Yes but I feel this case is different. Thanks for watching.

THIS IS MY OWN FAULT and I always admitted that I simply did mot read it. Never, ever implied in any way it was seller's problem. It was mine.

Oh goodness, I wouldn't expect you to do that! I need to be more diligent, You too awesome to offer. I felt terrible after reading the comments that it appeared I was laying blame at someone else's feet. :P

Too cool, me either. I am a very positive person (Karma) and I don't want anyone upset over what I may or may not do. Just a "hold-over hippie" lol...

I was llooking in the rules about something unrelated to this, and I came across a rule that states that a prohibited item is "Electronic downloads of any kind,,," that can be obtained by other methods... Out of curiosity, why is this auction exempt from this rule? Sincerely, am I missing something? I bid and won another electronic download and learned at that time that I couldn't get to it or download it b/c of my spyware/security program. Thats how I figured out I couldn't use these things. How is this different from any "electronic download?"

This is a game for the 3ds not the computer and its not free I had to purchase it from club nintendo.
Electronic downloads of any kind
MP3/music files, movie files, digital photos, electronic books, pdf files, etc, including devices advertised with media on them already
Exceptions: content created by the seller and not available for free elsewhere

Thanks for taking the time to explain these rules to me. I am relatively new here, as you can probably tell, and think it's better to ask and learn as I go forward. Who knows, I may have something like this from one of my sons I can put up for auction myself. :P

Basically what they are saying is that you can't auction burned movies or pirated dvds and stuff like that, or say you have an Ipod with songs on it, you have to erase all the songs before you list it. A moderator told me that this has to do with copyright laws or something like that.

Awesome, that helps a lot. I won an auction from this guy and I had to click on a link that took me to his login site on the computer and then download it. It was disastrous and I know computers. I have been using them for 35 years, It never worked, So, now thanks to you, I am better educated!

You are not winning so there is no reason to retract your bid. If you do bid again and win I will not refund you!

It looks as if I may end up winning this auction,. If that is the case, you can just keep it and relist it again (I think you can do that if I say you can.) Anyway, I am not able to use it and it would be a shame to waste it. :) Happy Sunday.
