yes he was, but Paul Pierce is about to pass Larry's record for all time scoring for the C's....!!!

but Paul Pierce did need an extra season to get that record. Bird did it in 13 seasons (while only playing 6 games in 88-89) while this is Paul's 14th. Plus, no one could pass or rebound (or both in the same play) like Bird. Paul Pierce is a great player and very clutch, but no C can ever touch Larry Legend!
