The listing, Naismith - Basketball 4¢ 1961 Scott#1189 MNH has ended.
Commemorates 100th anniversary of the birth of James Naismith, who invented the game. Naismith is not pictured on the stamp, although his name and birth year are inscribed.
Naismith was asked to create a new sport that could be played indoors. He wrote 13 rules for a game he called “basket ball,” since it involved throwing a ball through a peach basket hung on a wall.
Now, for the “legals” … ALL LISTIA RULES APPLY.
I ship within 7 days after receiving a verified address only (per Listia’s rules), United States only. Please do not ask me about international shipping. US only :)
Sending an address through a message does not count. Please refer to Listia's rules on this.
If I don’t get your address for three (3) days AFTER the auction ends, then I have 7 days AFTER receiving your address to send it, thus a total of 10 days after the auction ends to send it out.
I am doing this to protect both of us – buyer and seller. I’ve been more of a buyer than seller just so you know. I know what it’s like to “win” something and then want it practically the next day. Sadly we all know – it just doesn’t work like that :) I honestly wish it did.
If you do not provide your address within 7 days of winning, per Listia's rules, I keep all credits and relist. NO EXCEPTIONS.
NO BUYER’S REMORSE. If you do not think you will like the item/lot – please do not BUY. I personally took the photos. These are not stock images. These come from a pet free and a smoke free home.
Upon receipt and inspection, please mark as received and leave feedback – I will do the same for you. Once you mark as received, the credits are released to us sellers.
I will not lower the GIN and I don’t do auctions. Thank you! :)
That said …
Happy Buying! :)
