glad you like it. I had two more to list both are Au plus pieces. one is AU the other is AU-55 or uncirculated. Could be worth 100$ each. The good items i posted are a test. A test to see if i can trust that good items will get the bids they are worth. I am always fair with my customers and i usually feel guilty if my stuff goes to high and add to it. I currently have about 1200$ in inventory. This is not including my collection or high ticket items. I will never sell for instance a Vam PL Morgan dollar graded ms66 by NGC on here , but i will consider posting some other nice pieces.

You sound so much like my husband. Some people don't like him either because he tells a person straight up if items are fake, ect. You guys should hang out, just kidding. I'm glad you did so well in high school and got excepted to a lot of colleges, congrats!!!!

So with respect to size, this coin is between a quarter and a Kennedy half dollar? Similar to the size of the new $1 coins?

Well, I am back everyone. I have gotten a lot of emails about where I was and why I had nothing listed… gosh I was only gone like 2 weeks. Well I was busy graduating valedictorian of my high school class, traveling to Kentucky and winning 2nd place at the national DECA conference, being accepted into 3 different colleges at Louisiana State University (Honor College, Engineering College, and College of Basic Sciences), and receiving one of 25 science related academic full-ride scholarships to LSU. So yeah, listia got the backburner for a while, but that’s enough about me. I am Back!! And back with vengeance…
My rant for the day is for all the sensitive sellers on the site that are “getting their panties in a bunch.” If you can’t take criticism then don’t use a computer. You should expect it on an auction site! I can’t tell you how many people have blocked me or have been blocked by me for getting all upset over me talking about their coins… Like what the heck... It wasn’t like I was insulting them. God forbid they have to settle down their crying coins because I said they were cleaned/fake/overgraded. If you didn’t want my opinion you should try to sell it. End of story.

I am on a mission. I want to have at least 100 fans by my birthday. May 29th. I am shooting for 200 , but i want 100 for sure. To get this i will be adding an even more amazing auction every time i see my fans shoot up. You! the fans decide what goes up. The higher the auctions go and the more fans i get and the better the items will be.

i can't say how many their are around anymore. with the introduction of small cent coins the u.s government "outlawed" these. And encouraged people to turn them in for new small cents. These things are bigger than a quarter and heavier. People didn't like carrying them all. So a lot of people loved the new flying eagle. they were beautiful and very popular. Tons of these were turned in and melted.
original mintage was 2,425,342 i am sure at least 60% were turned in. The rest are probably in the hands of collectors or stilled buried like this one was. I bought these off a metal detector friend. Over the years he has sold me a ton of coins he has found.

These old coins are very impressive. How long have you been a collector?

to be honest i have no idea. It's been a long time though. My great grandfather always sent me coins and talked about the history behind them. Never really knew him that much, but he got me into the hobby that's for sure. He died about 8 years ago and left me his collection. Ever since i have been collecting.

got some new shipping supplies today. Figured if i am gonna be selling more stuff on here might as well make it look nice. So i picked up a box of bubble mailers and shipping labels.
This item will be shipped first class mail with deliver confirmation. (paypal mutli-order Shipment) and will be in a bubble mailer for its protection. The coin will be in a museum flip to insure it doesn't get scratched.
