The listing, Beautiful Citrine Pendant, 4 Carats mounted in Sterling Silver has ended.

Bought this in November. It doesn't look good on me. The first photo is of the actual item. The second photo is of one similar to it, taken from the website that I ordered it from. My camera doesn't do "close-ups" very well and I wanted the beauty of the stone to show, so I borrowed their photo. The only difference is the placement of some of the prongs' positioning to hold the stone in place.

It is a 4 carat stone and I ordered it directly from a company in Mexico.

I liked it, too. It reminds me of a sunburst. It just didn't look good on me. I'm grateful for your bid, it sat at 11 credits for a few days and I was starting to think that no one was appreciating how pretty it is. You know, four carats is a fairly large stone. I was going to take a picture of it next to a quarter, to show how nice-sized that it is, but I forgot to. I have an active 3 year-old, so I feel blessed to have been able to get it posted! LOL.

And it does make u think "sunshine"... I have a lovely ring that matches it perfectly ...so I'm kinda gonna have to stalk your auction if I wanna bring this puppy home ; )

So glad that you appreciate it. November was my grandmother's birthstone, and she was a wonderful woman. Every so often I buy a citrine piece in memory of her. This one just didn't do anything for me. I totally get you on the insane energy level of a three year-old. At night, when he closes his eyes, I know he's not sleeping--he's RECHARGING!! LOL times 2! Thanks. I didn't know about the history of the stone's use. I just have an affinity for it because my dear grandmother's birthday was November 1st and having some of citrine makes me think about her. She died 4 years ago, at the age of 86. I still miss her.

It's also 1 of 2 gemstones (the other being kyanite-a blueish green gemstone) that does not need cleansing-it dspell negative energy continuosly. Wow, hey, not a know it all, honest.
