The listing, ~~MUST SEE~~MILITARY COIN has ended.

This is a coin my husband was given for his service in Iraq. My husband and son was both deployed to Iraq in 2008-2009 and again in 2010-2011. This coin reads " GLOBAL WAR ON TERRORISM DEFENDING FREEDOM" on one side and "A JOINT MISSION IN THE PURSUIT OF FREEDOM" on the other side. This is a nice heavy coin about the size of a silver dollar maybe alittle bigger. Last picture shows the coin compared to a quarter.

@jnoble: I was never deployed, but I am gratious to your entire family for your service and your strength--thank you for loaning the Country both of your Men so AMERICANS can live a little more free! However, Service Members (and, essentially, their Families) sacrifice their own rights and their lives for the WORLD'S "pursuit of freedom"! I hope your men are well, and I hope they are home.

I served as a Satellite Operator in the Air Force, and I know my job was NO WHERE near as strenuous as your husband's and your son's, but I do remember getting these types of coins and I love them! I would be honoured to add them to my collection. I Pray I win!

I am not asking you to fan me or any of my auctions. My husband and son have both been overseas twice and they both got one each time they was over there. My husband feels one in his collection is enough so he wanted to pass one on to a civilian for their coin collection....is there anything wrong with wanting to share with another AMERICAN?

Ok I have had some pretty rude comments about this listing so I just want to say that this coin was given to my husband so it is his to do whatever he wishes with it. He decided to keep one in his collection and offer one to someone else to treasure. This was his choice and his alone so please don't comment unless you have something positive to say....thanks

I have 2 children who served/are serving..My son just left Navy (13 yrs) and is now in reserves and my daughter in still active Navy, 13 years..thank your family members for serving..don't think I have enough credits, but great for sharing... fanned you !!!
