It's real easy to use ! resets the chip in your ink cart so your printer thinks it's using a new cart !...just hold it on the contacts of your cart, it will blink the light red for 3 times and then go to green ! cart is reset and ready to be used !

does it matter which epson ink cartridge you use in other words, are they specific to a special cartridge? My printer is epson cx6400
