A treat for those who appreciate luxury yarns, and for the many lovers of purple! ;-)
Wollmeise is a one-woman yarn-dyeing company in Germany famous for the intensely rich, deep, saturated colors, and people go nuts for it—any online shop updates sell out in seconds, it can go for ludicrous prices on ebay. Here's a monochromatic dyeing experiment in purple. Yes, just purple, but there are many deliberate subtle shifts within this color. Enough to keep the knitted fabric interesting, but absolutely no ugly splotches or streaks!
Pics 1 and 2 are most accurate. I tried to get a good shot of the lable in pic # 3, but the color is off!

100% superwash merino, lace weight, 300 grams, 1722 yards. So this is a BIG hank, lots and lots of gorgeous yarn! Recommended needle sizes are US 0 - 4,
32 stitches knit up to approx. 4 inches
From my smoke-free and pet-free home. Other than media, I always ship priority with tracking.

I'm so torn. Fran found some more alpaca pink yarn that my sister won and had sent to me. I really would love to have that yarn to give me more to make a project but purple is my color and I'm so in love with this yarn! I know I don't have enough credits for both so it is decision time...
